East Vincent Township, "Lectures Under the Stars" presents: 

The Phoenixville Area during the American Revolution

Even though the name "Phoenixville" did not exist yet, some of the town as we know it was already here! Areas like Vincent, Pikeland, and Charlestown; where houses, taverns, people, and properties were starting to thrive in these new villages, and during the revolution, this village stood up and got involved. 

In this rendition of "Lecture Under the Stars," the respected and knowledgeable Ryan Conroy will share the history of the area, touching on: 

☆ Small skirmishes that occurred in the borough 

☆ Camp sites and militia units 
☆ And some famous generals (who may have visited our local taverns)
