The Phoenixville Area during the American Revolution

Saturday, August 15th, the East Vincent Historical Commission hosted another successful rendition of "Lecture Under the Stars!" 

Lead by Historian Ryan Conroy, 44 guests in attendance were presented a treasure trove of interesting facts related to the "Phoenixville area during the Revolutionary War, and learned about what is now Schuylkill Township, East Pikeland, Phoenixville, Spring City, and Parkerford. 

Ryan Conroy shared that history with the guests using maps and photos, buildings past and present, the Chester County Militia Flag, church hospitals, and more, to relay the importance that this area played in the long road to independence!
