Revolutionary Soldiers Cemetery
Wall Restoration Project

The original wall was built in 1831, with major repairs occurring in 1868. The wall was rebuilt and the grounds were resodded through the persistent commitment of Carl E. McIlroy, the 1st Chairman of the East Vincent Historical Commission. The funds for this project were secured from the County Commissioners, the Department of Housing and Urban Development, and individual community donations. The wall was rededicated on the July 4th, 1997.

Currently the stewardship for the cemetery is overseen by the East Vincent Township Historical Commission. Thank you to all who helped restore this piece of East Vincent History!
